First generation

Datsun 240z

on sale Oct.18th.1969

Sold as a 1970 model

inline 6 - cylinder engine

1974 The 260z 2.6 liter engine

1975 mid-year 280z

1979 came the 280zx

Motor Trend Import of the year

1980 the T-top roofs were    introduced along with a major facelift.

In 1984 73,000 300zx were sold

1990 the 300zx came with a new body and interior with 222 hp.

A turbo 300zx came later that year with 300hp. By the early 90’s sales surpassed the 1-million sales mark.

1993 the first convertible was introduced.

1996 ended the Z production for the U.S. and the last imported model was inducted into the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

1999 debuted a special Z Concept

at the American international Auto Show in Detroit.

A production version of the Z was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show and the name 350Z was announced.

2002 the 350z was available as a 2003 model.

Production of the 350z went from [ 2002 ] - [ 2008 ] Coupe

[ 2004 ] - [ 2009 ] Roadster
